A group of Asian Weaver Ant (Oecophylla smaragdina) spotted at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, Singapore, on 17 July 2022. They were preparing to make a new shelter from the leaves and can be seen coordinating to pull the leaves together.
These are very common, and I've been bitten by them when I clumsily step on them while taking photos of other creatures.
